On Thursday 5th August, former JET Programme participants Simone Charles, James McKenzie, Christal Hamilton, and Kavita Manohar-Maharaj visited the Mother's Union Children Home in San Fernando to showcase Japanese culture. Their visit was warmly received by both staff and participants. The former JETs conducted origami demonstrations, Japanese games, instructed on how to wear the Japanese Kimono, and featured several Japan video topics.
