JET Programme Series: Olympic Volunteer - Rishma Hansil

Proudly representing Trinidad & Tobago as an Olympic Volunteer for the sport of Water Polo in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The process began in early 2019 with lots of training and high hopes. Flash forward to 2021 and despite the many challenges it was encouraging to see the determination and commitment of all the volunteers working together to make the games safe and successful for all. It was an honour to introduce my country at the volunteer meeting and I was touched by the reaction of the crowd when I said I was from “Trinidad and Tobago.” There are people from all over the world cheering for Team TTO! Let’s go!
