MEXT (MONBU-KAGAKU-SHO) Scholarship Programme
The Government of Japan (MEXT: Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, , Monbu-Kagaku-Sho, one of eleven Ministries in Japan) offers scholarships to foreign students desirous of studying at Japanese universities as postgraduate/research students each academic year.
Application Period for 2027: April 2026- early June 2026 (no extensions)
