Jet Programme Series: Summer in Oita - Tasheira Khan
2022/7/12

Warmer days definitely mean more things to see and do in Oita. Some of which were firsts for me like going strawberry picking and visiting flower parks while others reminded me of back home like going to waterfalls and having beach barbecues with my friends. Something I have noticed since being here is that activities and experiences change so much based on the season you are in. Even food options and snacks have seasons in Japan and now that Summer is here, there is truly no shortage of new things to try and eat! Having the opportunity to do things for the first time will never be boring to me so when the chance presented itself to pick and eat unlimited amounts of strawberries or to join a pottery class, the only logical answer was yes. I’ve found that with these warmer temperatures I can see and do so many more things than I was able to during winter, so I find myself signing up for classes and experiences I would’ve never done back home.
